Morning deparure, with Reays luxury travel, to Britain's first seaside resort Scarborough. You will have ample free time for sights, shopping and perhaps the fine sandy beaches. The coach will depart the area at 5pm to take you home.

Scarborough, Britain’s first seaside resort, has been welcoming visitors for over 360 years and is still as popular as ever.

Scarborough is a great a place to visit for a day out. The safe, sandy, accredited North Bay beach and South Bay beach are broken by a rocky headland on which stands a reminder of the past, the historic Scarborough Castle.

The resort offers first class attractions such as the award winning Sea Life Marine Sanctuary, Scarborough Art Gallery, the Rotunda Museum and of course the newly refurbished Scarborough Open Air Theatre - Europe's largest open air theatre.

There really is something for the whole family to enjoy in Scarborough. Visit the peaceful North Bay and take a journey beneath the waves to discover the creatures of the seas at Scarborough SEA LIFE and Marine Sanctuary. Learn more about the work done to preserve the wildlife habitat and also to protect marine life.

Enter the Seal Rescue Centre and come face to face with rescued seal pups from the rugged coastline.

The resort offers a great choice of high street shops and boutiques. The Brunswick Centre is a prestigious all-weather shopping centre with a department store and thirty-five other retail outlets. The Centre is located in Scarborough’s pedestrianised shopping precinct, which, with the surrounding streets, has many individual boutiques, specialist shops and inviting cafes and bars.

The town boasts many quality restaurants, each serving a variety of fresh local produce. The restaurants cater for all tastes with everything from seafood and a la carte establishments to Italian, Greek, Indian, Chinese and Thai cuisine.
