Morning departure, with Reays luxury coach travel, to Whitby. Visit the quaint harbour-side gift shops and Whitby's famous cliff-top Abbey. The coach will depart the area at 17:00pm to take you home.

Links with explorer Captain James Cook. Delightful harbour, the old town with quaint gift shops and almost two hundred steps to Whitby Abbey.

Whitby is dominated by the cliff-top ruins of the beautiful 13th century Whitby Abbey. This traditional maritime town of Whitby, with its old cobbled streets, picturesque houses and sandy blue flag beach is a great place for a day out.

Whitby is set among fine stretches of coast with spectacular cliffs, beaches and bays.

There are 199 steps that lead down from the Abbey to the old town where you find yourself in a shoppers’ paradise. With an array of unique shops offering local crafts, famous Whitby Jet jewellery, maritime memorabilia and antiques, you are sure to find that treasure.

For food connoisseurs, Whitby has it all. Award winning seafood restaurants, continental delights, traditional sea-shanty inns preparing locally cooked produce and olde worlde English tea rooms serving freshly baked pastries and Yorkshire teas.

Set down is the bus stand at the Co-op on New Quay Road.
